As a Family Owned Funeral Company, our family attempts to provide as much information which is helpful in assisting your family to understand what decisions are to made and the variety of options available to consider. Below you will see the various options to consider when arranging and planning a funeral for your loved one. If at any time you wish to speak to a Funeral Director, please don’t hesitate to call us.
There are a number of decisions you should discuss with other family members. The main decision is whether the service will be a cremation or burial. Other information which needs to be known is the deceased’s personal details such as birth, parents, marriage, and any childrens details. This section outlines the exact information required during the funeral arrangement.
Funeral costs vary depending on your selections. However, as a family company we are able to keep costs affordable. To understand the costs involved with a funeral service, this section aims to outline such detail and provide an approximate price guide range for the services most frequently requested. Cremation is usually less expensive than burial.
Whether you wish to hold the funeral service at the church (or place of worship), a chapel, funeral home chapel or the cemetery graveside, our staff are able to arrange this for family and attend to all your wishes. To see photos and information of most major cemetery and crematorium venues in South East Queensland, please see this section.
The difference between a coffin and a casket is one simply of design. Coffins are tapered at the head and foot and are wide at the shoulders, while Caskets are rectangular in shape and are usually constructed of better quality timbers and feature higher standards of workmanship. We offer a wide range or options, images are contained in this section.
Remember that all funerals are different, and so are the floral tributes which families select. Each floral arrangement is individually created according to your specific needs and requests. All our floral tributes are fresh from our the market and of the highest quality. We have a range of size options to suit your budget.
Following the service you may wish to have refreshments service in our function room. Most crematorium venues also offer catering options and we can provide pricing for these venues also. Alternatively you may wish to go to a tavern or services club, or the family home. This section outlines our catering packages.
Having a photo slideshow played during the service can provide meaning and reflection for mourners. Our AV specialist staff can design and produce a professional photo slideshow which is guaranteed to work on the equipment at your service venue. If the venue does not have the appropriate equipment, we can provide this also.
Providing a service booklet (or order of service) serves a dual purpose. It shows mourners the service order (and any verses or hymn words for during the service), as well as a keepsake with photographs throughout for guests to take home. Our in-house staff can design and print booklets as per your wishes in full colour.
The Eulogy basically is a story of the person’s life. Writing is not a strength we all hold, however remember that you are not alone and the eulogy doesn’t have to be perfect. Family and friends attending the service are compassionate and understand that this is a very emotional task and are there to support you. We have prepared a guide to help you.
When a death occurs there are specific details that are required to register the death with the registry office in which the death occurred. The required details are listed in this section and a downloadable form available to fill out. If you prefer to fill this out online using our online form you can do this also in this section.
We offer a large range of memorial products, which include but are not limited to:
– Cremation Urns & Ashes Jewellery
– Photo slideshows, service booklet printing, bookmarks & service filming
– Canvas photo prints and framed photos
As a family, we have decided that we do not wish to benefit from the loss of a child. For this reason, heavily discount our fees and attempt to simply cover the costs we have to incur. We have created a special ‘Little Ones Memories Services’ funeral services pricing guide. For more information or to download this pricing guide, view this section.
