Cremation Service

The type of Cremation Service and your preferences for the service will determine the total service cost. This is because each service is unique. As a guide, a cremation service on average may be between $2,800 - $5,000 depending on the crematorium and service preferences.

A cremation service can be held either in our Chapel, the Crematorium Chapel, Church or other location. Alternatively, you may wish for no formal service to occur, but rather a private family gathering in the home.

For your understanding, a brief summary of the general services we provide when performing a cremation service include:

• Provision for our staff to be available 24 hours, 7 days, 365 days a year to assist you and your family
• Transferring of deceased into our care
• Performing necessary mortuary care
• Face-to-face meeting with our funeral planner to discuss the required information for death registration and planning the funeral service.
• Viewing of the deceased either in our viewing suite or other location
• Provision for coffin
• Provision for our staff to liaise with appropriate third parties such as cemetery, florist, doctor, hospital and nursing staff, etc., for the purpose of organising the funeral
• Provision of our staff and hearse on the day of the service
• Provision for us to pay all disbursements and fees on your behalf.
• Allowance of 14 days account payment terms or a funeral payment plan
• Complimentary Memorial Book (guest register)
• Complimentary ‘Thank You’ bookmarks printed

Things to Consider

• What date and time will the service be held?
• If required, where will the service take place? It is your decision whether you would like a formal service to be held, otherwise we can offer a private cremation.
• Do you require a floral tribute?
• Would you like a DVD photo tribute?
• Are any newspaper notices to be published?
• Who will officiate the service? – Minister or celebrant?
• Do you require any order of service booklets to be printed? We are able to do this for you.
